1.What if I get a "virus
alert" when I enter the Pioneer site or one of its pages? |
Recently, some of our web hosting servers were infected with the "backdoor coreflood"
virus,
which touched almost everyone but was eradicated rather quickly. Some
users were still getting
a virus alert because they were viewing a "cached copy" of the web site.
When this happens, we
advise you to clear your computer memory's cache. |
A. Go to your
browser (usually Internet Explorer), click on the "Tools" menu, then
"Internet options",
then click the "Delete files"
button under Temporary internet files. Close Internet Explorer, then
reopen and go
back to the web site. |
B. If a virus
alert still occurs, then restart your computer and reconnect to the
internet. In some cases
the servers or
yourcable modem may cache the web site. Sometimes you can clear this
situation
by physically disconnecting the power connection
to your modem, then reconnecting the power
and rebooting your PC. |
C. If you are
still getting this error, try to access the web site via the IP address.
Simply type
http://64.225.66.55 in the address box instead of the URL. This will bypass any caching on
the server. |
